Chris Hani Station Cape Town Station

We hop on the train at Chris Hani Station in Khayelitsha and headed towards Cape Town to catch Righteous Men and it was a great success. Due to a long train ride, it was easy to start engaging conversations with passengers. We went car to car and gave booklets to the mothers with children and leaflets to men. As one man signed the pledge form (after a lengthy discussion) for the Righteous Men Assembly, he confessed that he had raped before and served time for it. How great would it be if the perpetrators speak up about their mistakes with intentions of correcting the wrongs. Wouldn’t that cause more meaningful healing to the victims than just punishing the perpetrators?
