There have been many changes at our Liyabona Montessori Preschool since the beginning of the year.
- Abohna is not in our preschool any more!!!
- Ms. Pinky has left us due to a lack of children in the preschool. She has finished her training and is an excellent teacher. We wish her well in her future endeavours.
- Yes, we have only six children at our preschool. It makes our financial situation very difficult, but it has brought much blessings. God has been sustaining us and we were able to see his plan in our difficulties.
- We are ever closer to our parents, not be physically, but emotionally and mentally.
- It enabled me (Jung) to spend great deal of time on the “I’m precious to Jesus Campaign”.
- It enabled Helen to work much closer with missionary Jaemin on LOVEa Khayelitsha teacher training.
- We welcome our new teacher in training, Bonita. She is from a Coloured community in Stellenbosch. She is a qualified Grade R teacher. A dear friend of us is planning on opening a preschool in a township near Stellenbosch and is going to send Bonita to us for training. Bonita will be the head teacher there, so it means a lot to us as well. She will spend around a year with us until the school is ready.
- The best thing is that Children are getting lots of love
