Only after one week of practice, children at Ubukubakhe Preschool in Khayelitsha was proficient in Phonics. Missionary Jaemin randomly picked out a book and asked them to read it. To our surprise, they read all the letters with correct phonics. Undoubtedly, it encouraged us all very much.
We cut down a large lemon tree branch and harvested a box full of lemons. We actually don’t know what to do with them, but it was very nice to have something fruitful in the garden
