Please pray with us, so we can follow His direction. This is a possible site for us to purchase to build our first township Montessori school. We are indeed very excited and hopeful. Update: We recently found out that the plot is not registered with […]
From Scholarship Luncheon |
This is Lisakhanya and her mother. We had a luncheon for the 30 scholarship recipients. As we go into the second year of the scholarship program, we wanted to get together and share a meal. 30 scholarship recipients ranging from preschoolers to high school students came. They were all grateful for the program and I could see in their faces how special the scholarship made them feel. A teacher from Ekawiya high school came with her students and said, “Being a teacher is like being a parent. I am concerned for their well-being, not just the studies. They were very stressed before, because they didn’t have uniforms and school supplies. The scholarship is giving them confidence in school. Thank you very much.” The program was started by sponsors to give hope to the students. I believe we are giving them hope and big smiles as you can see on Lisakhanya and her mother’s faces.

We all worked together to have a wonderful evening with youth from Zola. Chad led a program at the beach, Tana helped out with food, Brian did braai (created his won braai sauce) and gave a wonderful sermon that encouraged youth and Charissa and Dean helped us with transportation. It was an evening camp for us at our preschool and we pray that we can grow further from here. One of the teens could not make it, because her mother passed away. We don’t have any more details yet, so we will share with you as soon as we have more information.
A mission team from Australia led by Pastor Paul visited Zola today. They prepared a interactive sermon about David and Goliath. It was very interesting to see and children enjoyed it so much. After, a dance team called, The Majestic, gave us a showcase of […]
