2009 Last African Leadership Family Devotion
African Leadership will go into hibernation until January. It was not a easy year for coordinators, but they have achieved so much in Christ. Abohna was one of the most joyful. May God bless them.
Unpacking
Unpacking is almost done. It looks like home now. I wish I can invite all of you for a house warming party. Lucky came to help painting the preschool today and Casta will join us tomorrow as well. We miss you guys.
First teacher interview
Her name is Margaret and she is James’ (my tiler) girlfriend. We met at a McDonald and talked for a long time. She has been working with disabled children as teacher’s assistant for last three years. We explained our purpose here and she got very excited. She has a five year old son and lives in an informal settlement in Strand. We drove her and James to their homes and had a chance to visit the area. It was the place that we want to expand the preschool in the future. As we presummed it was only 10 minutes away from our house. Perfect! I forgot to take a picture of her. 🙁

Where Liyabona Montessori will be…
Hi, this is the house that we bought to open the preschool. It is more than 100 years old and hardly maintained. After we are through renovating it, it will be a place with God’s presence. 🙂 Children will grow up in God’s care and teachers will learn to love the children in the way God taught us to. And we will enjoy our lives as missionaries. Thank you for your prayers and may God bless you.
