A new born baby

Paul and Alice had a beautiful baby boy today. The delivery was done with a midwife and it was really a 20 minutes delivery. His name is Song Ha (Song=song, Ha=Hananim), so God’s song. He is so small.

Our weekend getaway to Hermanus and Knysna

I was there in Knysna about 5 years ago and thought it would be a great place for my parents to live (if they can speak English). It was such a beautiful place. I wanted to show it to them, so we took a weekend […]

The way he put it was ‘approved in principle.’ Jan agreed there is something higher than us (God) working in our plans. He also offered to help in networking. Now, it is time for us to get to work in creating God’s kingdom here. Through it we have gained so much including great neighbors. Let’s do it. 🙂

The second meeting

Our neighbor, Jan and Carlene, invited us over for a tea today. We will go over to their house around 6:30. We are very excited to develop a relationship with them. Before our differences in the zoning change, they are our neighbors. Please pray for […]

The meeting with the neighbor went very well. Jan and Carlene are very nice couple with two beautiful children. We talked for an hour or so. We explained that we are not pursuing to have as many students as possible to be a profitable institution. […]

How sweet the God’s people are!

I love the pastors from Transkei. Pastor Ohm asked me to take them on a harbour boat tour. Once we got on the tour boat, we were all busy. I was busy taking pictures for them and they were all busy talking on the phone. I asked mama Silvia afterwards who she was talking to on the phone. She said she was talking to her sons, cousins, church members and so on. She was sharing with them how beautiful and exciting it was. How sweet is that?

Breaking News

1. My parents are arriving tomorrow morning 2. We have an appointment with the neighbour objecting to the zoning change tomorrow evening at the house. 3. Things are moving along and I am excited. Please pray for us.

Finally moved in!

Yes, I’ve got all the keys and remote for the gate, but we are not sleeping there yet. Nothing is in the house, not even a stove. Unlike Canada, you take your appliances when you move out. The neighbor is scheduled to be back sometime […]

Our first student/parent interview

She was suffering from bronchitis, but during the course of interview she got cheery and playful. The interview went very well. Helen answered the questions very professionally and calmly. I pray that God will give s the privilege to serve the little girl. Sadly, I don’t remember her name. I don’t think she told me. I will ask Helen tomorrow and upload it. 🙂 Here is the video of her being playful.

Mama and Dada’s from Eastern Cape (Transkei)

If you’ve ever been to Transkei, there is more than a good chance that you were served by and deeply touched by one of these people in the picture. Simply, they are the amazing ones in the rural ministry of African Leadership. Dada Masakane was […]
