Have you seen one of the 80’s movies about Harlem? Must been a Eddy Murphy movie. A character parks his car on a street of Harlem and, when he returns, his car is supported by bricks on four corners and all four wheels are gone. It did happened to me. When I came back with new wheels, one of the student, Thembi said to me, “Welcome to South Africa!”
Actually, it helped me a lot. I parked my car in front of the Auto Mechanic building at 9am. I had an unpleasant conversation with Elijah and came out to find my car like that. Because of it, I spent some quality time with Elijah. I think God had planned it. ๐ The store where we bought the tires from gave me a gift basket, which went to Elijah’s wife.
When I went to Police Station to report, a bizarre thing happened. At the entrance of the station, I asked an office where I should go. He kindly directed me to a counter inside and he suddenly looked over me. Then he rolled his eyes over his head like he was looking at something flying over his head. Then he turned and collapsed. I caught him from falling and laid him on the ground and yelled for an ambulance. He started having seizure and foaming at his mouth. People gathered around us to help and I stood up him and started to pray over him. Fortunately, by the time I left the station, he was fully recovered.
it was a truly a bizarre day. But for some reason, I was very thankful to God. It was a long day, but I can praise the Lord.
God certainly works in mysterious ways. But how wonderful it is that you have the gift to be able to look beyond what is presented so that you may uncover God’s true intentions ๐
We miss you all here in Vancouver! God bless! <
